Patillo's Bar-B-Q - Beaumont

Best bar-b-q in town, and I love those famous Patillo's links.

So I have to start by saying the food is good. Having said that, this was not normal BBQ. I ordered brisket and sausage. It came out in a huge pool of liquid, like a stew liquid. I generally like to taste just the meat, then the meat with sauce. This was like a cooked brisket that was sliced and put into a stew. It was still very tasty, but this is not what I call BBQ. I still liked the food, just wanted to make that known.

This is a great local bbq place where you can find a wide variety of meat, sides, and homemade desserts. The staff are all genuinely nice and the food comes out hot and tasty. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big! This establishment has been around for a long time! Support local!

That's a cool place! A barbecue area built in 1912 with so much charm. The owner greeted us at the door and his brother gave us the history of the restaurant. The portions were large to make sure you are hungry! And the sweet tea... oh my goodness! It is just the kind of place where you hope to walk on a road.
