Service was good food was ok expected better for price

I will always return to this place until they close down. I've been coming here with my family since I was a child, and now I bring my own family here too. Plus, the margaritas are incredible!

I grew up going to this restaurant, and it's my all-time favorite. Their queso is simply the best in the world!

This is an amazing place! It's the only Monterey House I know of that's still open. We travel all the way from the Houston area just to dine here. I highly recommend it!

After eating here many times, I won't be back. Hot sauce was a tomato in a cup. Our Queso was really big. No. 7 was fry chicken in a flour tortilla. It was specified on the menu, it was marinated. This was clearly not the case. The big baby literally spits it out. She loves Mexican food. At check-out I spoke my concerns about the food. The manager just said good, our food is the same day. That explains why I'm not back. She didn't offer anything else. I paid $37 for a lunch with all our food on our plate 1 2 bites we tried to get down. The manager put crackers on the table and gave the Grandbaby while we eat. She didn't cry for crackers she cried because she was hungry and the food was bad!!!!
