China Star Buffet - Beaumont

China Star is my dinner on Friday. Love the food. Lisa the owner is the best! A scream from our favorite waitress Ana and Jeanette. Love this Chinese food.

My husband and I stopped eating here and it was very nice that there were many options. I liked everything I tried. The place was clean and the people were nice so that for a quick bite the food already made, there is no waiting time for your food so was fast and that is what we needed.

After reading a lot of negative reviews, we decided to go here. You need to remember that it is a buffet, not a chic restaurant where you wait for hours for your meal. The food was good and was like all the buffets, cheap and everything you can eat. We definitely go back, remember it is a buffet and not a 5 star restaurant. Eat as much as you want and remember that you only pay like $13 a person.

Eat here and it was good, but this time the food was on the buffet on the cold side. The waitress took off the plates. The bathrooms are clean. The Hibachi was closed for Kovid. Not sure what this is about. Follow me for more reviews!!!!

Went during the middle of the week around 1PM maybe 2. Food was not all hot some of it was noticeable below temperature. It was not being changed out after being out for long periods of time. Some of it was stiff from how long it'd been out. And variety could definitely be better. No coconut shrimp or honey walnut type shrimp for example. I've been there 2 other times and the food temperature was better course both those other times were busy. So I guess you should try to go during busy hours to ensure you get decent food.
