Maggies Pub - Beaufort

Cute pub decor and friendly staff. The food menu is small with about 15 items. Beer menu is bigger than that. Food was ok. The veggie flatbread toppings and cheese tasted good but the crust was stale tasting and reminded me of a type of wrap I have purchased from the grocery store. One friend ordered the pub burger and stated it was ok but nothing extraordinary.

Vegetarian Vegan friendly! LOVE Maggie's! I am a vegetarian and the owners and chef make sure there are always delicious options on the menu for us. My two favorite dishes so far are the Grilled Caesar Salad and the Stuffed Portabella Mushroom! The first time I visited the Pub, I wasn't sure what type of wine to order. Kirsten suggested the The Crossings Sauvignon Blanc...It was fabulous! I love that they offer LIVE music and events each week, Ladies Night and valet service. If you live in Beaufort County, you MUST visit this place! A Hidden Gem!

Pub? Not really! Four beer taps with two of them IPA's, a heavy brown and a fruity beer, no lager or Pilsner types, that's a bad start when you go to order. The noise is overwhelming even when less than half full due to the type of ceiling tiles. Service was pleasant but lacking totally, to sit there after finishing the mediocre meal for 30 minutes before anyone asks if you are ready for desert is terrible particularly when the wait staff walk bye numerous times. So many better restaurants in the area, hopefully they can concentrate on improving what could be a great place.

I have to be honest, I didn't order anything in this so-called pub. I went in, excited to find a diamond in the rough and maybe a selection of local beer; instead I found what looked like a wine bar at a golf course, complete with a jaguar parked out front and patrons parked inside with pink cardigans around their shoulders. I hope I'm wrong and hit it on an off night, but wow was I uncomfortable. And I'm comfortable just about anywhere.

Maggie's never disappoints the whole staff is very attentive and KNOWS their menu without a doubt. Marley's meals and Eddie's cocktails are always amazing
