Dos Amigos - Beaufort

We came here when we came out of town. Eating was so good we doubled back! My husband and I had a great time! Large partial sizes. The food was amazing and tasteful. The service was fast and our waiter was friendly!! Large margaritas in different sizes and flavors.

The music playing in the background was quite amusing—I mean, we were in a Mexican restaurant! It was nice to enjoy it on this Sunday, January 2, at 1:00 PM; the volume was just right. I appreciate being able to carry on a conversation without having to shout, which is often a problem elsewhere. Our server checked on us frequently and made sure our glasses were refilled without us having to wait. I ordered the chicken cheese Chili Relleno and a tostada, and wow, they really give you a generous portion! Everything was served hot and delicious. My daughter had the fish and vegetables, which I tried a bite of, and it was really good! There was a woman at a nearby table with an enormous margarita, and my daughter insisted I had to try it. The lady glanced over at us and laughed, saying, “It’s delicious! You should get one!” We had already planned to have dessert afterward, but with three little ones around, I only managed a small taste, so I'll definitely be back for more of that! Overall, it was a lovely place. As someone who eats out quite a bit, I know the value of good service. I’ve read some of the other reviews here, and it seems some of them were not great! I hope that next time I visit, my experience will be just as enjoyable!

The food was delicious, the portions were massive, and the margaritas were generous! The service was fairly good, although we had to hunt down our server, Jose, to get the bill. I highly recommend the pig carnitas—you'll thank me later!

The hostess was seated at a table in a dimly lit area of the restaurant. We had to choose a different table to sit at. However, the food was quite good and was served to us promptly!

The best Mexican Restaurant I have been to in a long time. Gabriela was wonderful and very attentive. A Mexican Band playing for the owner’s birthday and loved the atmosphere. Got the 3 Amigo Burrito and one of the best I have ever had!! If you like Mexican food and in the area it’s a must.
