Clawson's 1905 - Beaufort

I ordered the mahi special with fried oysters and hollandaise, topped with fried onions over coconut jasmine rice. It was amazing. The calamari appetizer was excellent. The scallops wrapped in bacon were good but nothing special, as the barbeque sauce was a bit heavy. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Our waitress was not up to par, but usually I receive excellent service there.

I ordered a steak from a certain cut. the menu has only 2 different cuts to choose from. I ordered the ribeye and was served to the serloin. I chose the rib because it was a bigger cut.

I ordered a specific cut of steak from the menu that only offered two options. I requested the ribeye, but was mistakenly given the sirloin instead. I had chosen the ribeye for its larger size.

Eat the second time here. the first time was just okay. this time I got her blowing rock burger. it is a half-pound burger with speck, cheddar and maple bourbon BBQ sauce. it was pretty good, but would not make my top 3 burger places. good the cost and had good taste. it was cooked exactly as I had asked. friends were in order. my wife has the Turkish cranberry sandwich. it had truthahn, cranberry jam, cocks and spinat on house made zimt rosin brot. She talked all the time about how good it was, and she saved me and it was really good. the cinnamon and rusty bread (which I thought sounded kind of strange for a truthahnsandwich) actually made the sandwich great. it was great. only one head up, none of the menu prices are up to date. I had wanted their loaded pommes, but the online menu price was $10.95, but when we were there, it was $16. I had to go. too expensive overall, good place to eat in beaufort nc. hopefully this city gets more authentic places to eat and marmalade’s because the opposite 95% chains of which 85% are bojangles.

Get the mahi mahi! it was amazing. Pineapple Cutney with a small kick, some grilled vegetables and rice. unfortunately not to share a picture. - No, no, no.
