Contribuiți la feedbackGeneral occasion: My favourite restaurant is Café Huber in Bayrischzell. Unfortunately, we rarely come here. An occasion was just before Christmas when we wanted to go with friends to eat well. The place is hidden in the second row, not far from the station. It looks like a café from outside. If you enter, you will be in the bakery's storeroom, which does not suggest how good you can eat here. I had the opportunity to cook with Thorsten Hopp in his kitchen. The man is crazy! He was the head of a large company in Baden-Baden and is independent here in the rear corner of Bavaria. In his kitchen there is practically no waste and the residual heat is still used. It places great emphasis on fresh regional products. The food has the highest quality and is freshly prepared á la minute (nearest kitchen from 6 pm) Menu Ambience: for the ambience of the guest room. The exterior of the house and the shop at the entrance must be overcome. Then you will find yourself in a pleasant room on two levels. The walls are white and painted with floral motifs. Above is a beautiful wooden construction, which together with the spout windows and the terracotta floor gives the room a rural touch. The equipment is complemented with benches, tables and chairs. The tables are usually covered with white runners. There are heavy slate plates as place sets, good material-served, perfect plates and glasses. In front of the guest room there is a sunny south terrace, from which you can enjoy the surrounding mountains. A large hall is also available for celebrations. The menu included very tempting dishes at local prices. It annoys me every time I can't taste everything. Some of the dishes remind me of things I ate with my mother. For this we were always offered a beautiful wine. The homepage with the photos in the gallery gives a first good impression. Service Welcome: for a very pleasant and exemplary service by Chef Christina Löwe and another service. The service would also be a star restaurant. Food drink: for cooking Mr Hopp, which cooks everything fresh and does not use preservatives or flavor enhancers. Shortly before Christmas I was after a part of the geese with blue herbs and dumplings (22.50 €). Previously there was a surprising winter hugo (3,20 € as aperitif, a greeting from the kitchen and a pumpkin cream soup (6,50 €). The food tasted really good, was an eye-catcher and was so plentiful that we had to give up the dessert painfully. In addition, the large bottle still mineral water from Adelholzner (4.20 0.75l) Cleanliness WC: There was nothing to complain. Conclusion Price performance: for a super performance at human prices. The restaurant is open from 10 am to 10 pm. The time should be used to buy very good homemade pastries, pasta, jam, etc., to make day bread, to enjoy coffee and cakes or to sneak properly in the evening. I look forward to my next visit!
