Bergcafe Siglhof - Bayrischzell

Beautiful café with beautiful playground. Located directly on Wendelstein. I don't think so.

The cakes were so lala, but the view and the garden: anger! Oberbayern at its very best! (We were there on weekends in the afternoon in great weather: Was already too much of the good, too full, then only briefly to look at and to come back;

Great. But before 13.00 it is much more relaxed. Otherwise, it'll be fine.

The friendly lady from the Tourist-Info in Bayrsichzell recommended a walk to the Hochkreuth to the mountain café Siglhof. The walk was then quite steep and strenuous, but we were compensated for at the top of the plateau with a magnificent view of the mountains and pastures. In the middle of this idyll lies the mountain cafe Siglhof. We took place on the wonderful terrace at the house. We ordered sausage salad and mountain cheeses at the feschen, fleeting and friendly service. Everything together with the white beer tasted excellent. At the end, we had 2 more pieces of the homemade cake. The cake. Rarely I have seen a selection of fresh, homemade cakes. This should not be missed. Bergcafe Siglhof a 100% recommendation in Bayrischzell.

The Siglhof is a beautiful excursion café high above Bayrischzell, which can be reached in a good half walk through a steep forest section from there. Those who are too exhaustive can also drive from Osterhofen by car directly to the Cafe. I was there the second time and at both visits the cake was delicious, the pieces were great and the service was very friendly and helpful. In addition to the large outdoor area there is a cozy guest room and a new wooden house, with fireplace and beautiful bright furniture. In addition, there is a beautiful playground and fantastic views. Look forward to my next visit to Siglhof
