Feinkost Christian Schmauß - Bayreuth

If you are looking for real delicacies in Bayreuth and someone who really understands something of fine food (and who is not just asserting this on the shop plate and is looking to be concealed at high prices), you will eventually land at Christian Schmauß. The interesting thing here is that the prices are absolutely great. More often I noticed that even discounters for organic quality demand more money (so happens with the tasty chicken where you have something for days or your family can enjoy. My tip: First cook and enjoy soup, then glaze with honey and oil and make soup again in the oven, from the rest. The oily oil at Schmausi is legendary! I just got a good thing with friends from Sicily. The Wild Paste is also absolutely recommended! We do not need to talk about fish and weed sausages, as well as ingenious. For people without time, Marco's hot counter is recommended. Better than advertisements for fat food from unfortunate animals with the inscription of leaks as with various shopping centers and construction markets. There are special cheeses, organic bread (where the bakery Lang is always my destination) and delicious wines (for which I also recommend the wine house Dörsch with Klaus Fuchs). And finally again something close to life and common, which gives a strength and energy. There are only vegetables from Schmausi's garden, but for all this there is the Hollerbusch with Björn Blank in Bayreuth. The Oberfranken region has one thing when you look closely: style!

Super fresh and tasty food stuff, such as fish, fresh and smoked, cheese, meat, wild, poultry, inlaid feta cheese, wine, oil etc.

The meat and the other things I bought there were the best I ever had. I can't go too often, or I'll get more. I had ordered wild boar, bought I still smoked belly and smoked meats, rosemary ham and wild boar saalamie, as well as a few open black olives. All first-class, I was and am delighted with the quality.

I can't say enough positive about this place. Staff are always friendly and the meat is of the highest quality. There are also delicious cheeses, sausages, various types of bread. The prices are a bit higher but for this, the quality is true.
