On recommendation we came here and had pre-ordered. Since the weather was so beautiful, we decided to use the terrace. From here we had not only a great view of Bayreuth, but also a beautiful sunset. The service was very friendly and the food was very good and more than abundant.
Let me speak again to the restaurant Elf am Rodersberg. In fact, it is for me that I would have to wear owls to Athens if I would like to evaluate the Elf restaurant once again with excellent quality, but I must do it! Was there today with my family for lunch, Schnitzel, Schaschlik and Co in proven quality but what I got served with the 400 gram Rumpsteak just flashed me on New German. Anyone who has already tried to prepare a big dump steak will know how hard it is sometimes to meet the perfect cooking degree. Once you get lost with the temperature/time, then it still moves, etc. This steak, however, was simply top class, beautiful roasted staroms outside and inside really!! Medium. I really do not exaggerate with this review because I had a lot to do in the past professionally throughout Germany and had steaks eaten from Allgäu to Flensburg. But what you get at the Rodersberg you can only get, if at all, in fine dining and then certainly not at this price. Absolute Bundesliga!
Price performance ratio very good, large portions. The food is very delicious. Hosts and staff very friendly. Warm kitchen is available until 19:30.
A tip brought us to this restaurant. This restaurant is located on a hill overlooking Bayreuth. The main dishes we ordered were very delicious. The steak was as desired. Return: We were barely fifteen minutes when we were asked to use the salad buffet. The reason was that they wanted to clean up. And all this at 8:00. The goal of a nice evening was immediately over.
