Un Air 2 Famille - Bayonne

Located right by the cathedral, this is a great place to take a morning coffee. Friendly staff, good prices and great coffee!

We stopped here during a visit to Bayonne, having spotted that they offered coquillettes as well as the all pervading menu enfants staples of jamon blanc (side comment: why are French restaurants so poor at providing decent menus for children? but anyway, it made a change. My husband and I both had the daily special hachis parmentier which was absolutely delicious and the girls enjoyed their pasta. The ambience inside was great very relaxed and friendly and,had the weather been better, we would have loved sitting outside by the cathedral. There are probably better gastro restaurants in the area but for a friendly relaxed lunch, you could do a lot worse.

We went there with the kids for lunch around 2pm. The restaurant serves all day long! We were seated outside right in front of the cathedral. Very nice. Service was nice and efficient and the food really good and fresh. Menu changes everyday so you know everything on it is fresh and homemade! We also took some quite good Chocolate chips cookies to go.

Very positive tea room with quality products, friendly and fast service, pleasant setting on the square (piton) of the cathedral, in a sunny quiet, and everything is very "clean. Great!

It's been a couple of times since I stopped for lunch and every time it's been great! It's very good, hearty and service is effective. Don't hesitate. Don't hesitate!
