Yi Sushi Go! - Bayonne

My most favorite sushi place ever! Not only is the customer service great the food is amazing too !!! It’s my family’s favorite place!!

A no fuss sushi too with a large selection to choose from. They excelled with their specialty rolls but some small improvements needed for the nigiri.It’s mostly meant for takeout but they do have a few small tables if you wanted to eat in but without the full service. Glad this spot exist as there are not many options around the neighborhood.

Customer experience here is amazing the food is delicious and employees are friendly. But working here is the complete opposite! Management takes all tips and gives none to employees that don’t even get paid minimum wage, that is paid under the table by the way!

The place is shaped like a little hut. Always clean and neat. I mostly get the shrimp tempura roll and/or California roll.. I like that the pieces are sliced thin... it's also priced reasonably.Parking: There have a huge shared parking lot with quick check so parking is plentiful.

I really don't understand the hype surrounding this place. The sushi rice lacks flavor, and the fish is just mediocre. I tried a spicy salmon roll, but it was topped with a hot sauce similar to Frank's RedHot, which I found to be an absolute disaster. After just one bite, I had to reach for some Tums and ended up tossing the rest away. The spicy tuna, however, didn't have that sauce and was decent. The golden volcano roll was okay, but it was the best item I ordered. The fried shrimp dumplings weren't impressive either; the filling had an odd texture and the shrimp flavor was very subtle, barely noticeable. On the plus side, they were punctual—my takeout order from their website was ready early.
