Joe's Pizzeria - Bayonne

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night around 7 o'clock. The place was not too busy, but it seemed like they were receiving a lot of take-out and delivery orders. The woman working behind the counter was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and is very clean and rustic. They have a TV playing a horror/suspense movie, which added to the overall experience. There is a variety of pizza slices available, with specialty slices priced at $4 and cheese slices at $2.75, including tax. They offer great daily deals, even on weekends, such as a large cheese pizza, a 2-liter soda, mozzarella sticks, and chicken wings for $28. They also provide a 10% discount on online orders. I tried the chicken parm pizza, which was delicious and light, topped with mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, crispy chicken, fresh mozzarella, and basil. The crust was crispy, the cheese gooey, and the flavor was fantastic. Overall, we had a great experience and can't wait to return.

I waited 25 minutes for a single large cheese pizza. During that time, a man walked in and ordered a medium or large pizza and received it immediately. It was not a pick-up order as he ordered in person and no name was given. After waiting, my pizza finally arrived. I do not recommend ordering from this restaurant. Additionally, some of the patrons laughed at my son, for reasons unknown.

The people that work here are friendly my husband I received fast service. We ordered cheese steaks which we both enjoyed. We also ordered Shrimp Scampi to take out, which was tasty, but just a bit too much butter. The bottom of the bag had card board in it the container that the scampi was in was wrapped in plastic wrap the paper bag cardboard were soaked in butter/scampi sauce. I want to try the calamari next time,

This place is absolutely terrible. I ordered a pizza and it took 2 hours to arrive, when I called they put the phone down on me and when the pizza finally did arrive it was cold. Worst worst place. DO NOT buy from this place it is absolutely terrible.
