Old City Hall - Bay City

Had our first SIX-its just dinner event here.  The staff and management were helpful at putting me at ease for this new venture.  They accommodated all 17 of us wonderfully.  Did not hear any complaints about the food or service.

I ordered a grilled cheese and a broccoli and cheese sandwich and WAS TOTALLY NOT DISAPOINTED !!!!!

Food and service delightful. Would definitely visit again!! You'll want to visit the sister restaurant American Kitchen, too!

Good Food, slow service. I have been to this restaurant twice, once in late October 2010 and once in mid December, 2010, on a Friday and Saturday night, respectively. I loved the food both times we had lettuce wraps, and pheasant salad the first time and a pork chop the second time. I was very pleased with the food, but it took a while to get waited on, and it took a while for drinks to arrive. The wine was pretty good, and the mixed drink, a Brandy Old Fashioned, was just ok. <br/ <br/ The servers were ok, just really slow.

The tomato bisque soup to start my meal was very good, one of the best versions of that soup I’ve ever had. My NY strip was also excellent, medium rare as I requested. I was also pleased with the vegetables – someone is paying more attention at OCH because the last couple times I have been there, the vegetables have been lacking – this time that was not the case.
