Lighthouse Bbq Cafe - Bay City

This cozy little cafe/restaurant may be small, but the food is fantastic. The BBQ ribs were amazing—so flavorful that I didn’t even need any sauce; I enjoyed them as they were. I will definitely be back!

My husband used to work at the nearby plant, and I recently met up with a former coworker for lunch. I'm so glad she recommended this place! While the exterior isn't particularly inviting, the interior is beautifully decorated with a Western theme. The waitress was very friendly. I ordered the chicken strips salad, which was tasty, but I wish I had chosen the salad bar instead. As we were leaving, I took a peek at it, and everything looked delicious!

The food was enjoyable and the waitress was pleasant, but I encountered a few issues. The front door was stuck, and I needed assistance to open it. Additionally, the door to the women's restroom wouldn't close properly, so I had to ask someone to stand outside to ensure no one entered. Moreover, there was no soap or towels available in the bathroom.

This is not a bbq place. My ?BBQ? spud, had chicken on it that tasted like he had been baked in the oven and just had put bbq sauce on it. Absolutely disgusting I do not recommend it.

Best chicken fried steak ever! BLT was awesome. Super reasonably priced and great service. Looks are deceiving.
