Black Bear Lodge Saloon - Baxter

Completely over priced. Food was mediocre at best. Black bear Lodge is trying to be something they're not. I ordered the prime rib sandwich. My first red flag should have been when the waitress never asked ,e how I wanted my steak. Her response was they don't do that for the prime rib sandwich. When my food came it was laying on a pan opened faced ciabatta roll. The prime rib was approximately 1/4 inch thick, gray in color and no life left. My sister from the next table could see it grayand quite frankly, was completely over cooked. When I tried cutting into it it was very difficult and the top half of the roll went flying. In addition to it being completely over cooked the the consistency of shoe leather, it also had no flavor. It took the waitress quite a while to return to our table after delivering our orders, therefore, after explaining to our waitress what was wrong and I needed to send it back, I chose not to re-order anything else. It simply would have taken to Long and quite frankly from the nibbles that was offered to me, the food was lacking in multiple areas.

Prime Rib 18oz was excellent!! The best I've ever had... we had two half pounds of Bacon Burger, which was also excellent... Half the ribs were also excellent! Chicken bacon ranch wrap was also excellent... Every food we have ever ordered here is perfect and great cook and excellent staff also!! I recommend this place to everyone! Worth the money!

Best gluten-free cake EVER. I fled to the ceiling after a bite. Dinner and service were also amazing. The high stands feel private and beautiful place to visit and catch.

This place has a great atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, with many options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
