Bull Bush - Baulkham Hills

After living near Baulkham Hills for so many years, we finally decided to visit this restaurant that we had often talked about whenever we drove by. Today was the day! Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised by the decor, which combined modern elements with a touch of rustic Australian charm, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant had Chef’s Specials and daily specials available throughout the week (though not on the day we visited). In addition to those, the menu offered a good variety of dishes for us to choose from. We also appreciated the salad bar, where we could freely create our own salads if we purchased a plate.

A couple of months ago, we were impressed by the extensive menu and the inventive flavor combinations on offer. To start, we ordered the Bruschetta, which was generously topped with fresh tomatoes, spring onions, parsley, and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. For our main course, we chose the Fantasia, which featured chicken breast, mushrooms, bacon, avocado, and sundried tomatoes, served with a side of mashed potatoes. As part of the meal, we were offered the option to create a salad from the salad bar, but the main dish was so satisfying that we didn't have room for it. The Fantasia was extraordinary and unlike anything I've tasted elsewhere. The Bull Bush Inn specializes in creative chicken dishes, and I can't wait to return and try more from their menu. We also ordered the BBQ Seafood Salad, which was a hit! It included mussels, calamari, octopus, and prawns mixed with a Greek salad. We’ll definitely be back soon to sample more of the delicious offerings at the Bull Bush Inn. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a tasty bistro meal in the Hills!

The food and service at this pub are outstanding. I recently worked nearby and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing offerings. The lunch menu is extensive and reasonably priced. I even invited friends to join me so we could savor this fantastic food and experience the authentic pub atmosphere together. A big thank you to the Bistro staff and Chris at the bar for making it such a great experience. Absolutely brilliant!

All I can say is thankyou. What a great meal at reasonable price. We were so full we could not finish our beers. Kids meals were huge, which never happens so was really impressed. Staff were all friendly and that always makes for a good night out.
