Another classic spot! It's been a staple in Urbandale for a long time, featuring a diner atmosphere and a classic menu. The Speed Burger is truly one of the best burgers in British Columbia. They’re open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, catering to a bustling bar crowd, and they also serve a fantastic breakfast and lunch. You can count on delicious food at great prices—it's a classic greasy spoon in the best sense!

Speed always serves delicious food. True to their name, they are quick. Until the absurdly high hourly wages in fast food are replaced by robots (that don’t give off bad odors), they won’t have any competition. Enjoy your meal! P.S. No need for a translator here. LOL

Normally, the service here is excellent, and the food is amazing. However, that wasn't the case during our visit on Thursday morning. I had brought some friends who had never been before. We sat near the entrance because one of my friends uses oxygen and a cane. The drinks and food were ordered, and a different gentleman refilled our drinks, which was great. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, it had extra onions on it, despite our request to exclude them due to dietary restrictions. We informed our waitress, and she took the burgers back to remove some of the onions, but most of it was still there. So, we decided to order something else. While we were halfway through our meal, our waitress approached us and said another party needed our table, and she would have to take our food and drinks away. The restaurant was nearly empty at the time, which made this even more frustrating. If they wanted to reserve a table for someone else, they should have placed a reserved sign on it. In the end, I paid the bill and went somewhere else to eat since our waitress took our food away. – Melissa Wirebaugh

Wonderful food and fantastic service. seating area next to antique shop. You have to go for a meal and look at the shop. I can't wait to go back.
