The Little Village - Baton Rouge

Anthony is the best server I've had in Baton Rouge. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and gave our table excellent suggestions and top-notch service. We loved the food, atmosphere, and the aesthetic. I have been coming to Little Village (in various locations) for decades and tonight was one of my favorite nights to date. Primarily because of Anthony's presence.

I went during lunch once to pick up take out and the staff was standoffish and kind of ignoring me. When I finally got my order the sauce atop and surrounding the lasagna was really really salty however the seafood arancini was amazing and the only reason for my stars.

Was not very impressed by this restaurant. I ordered the Marsala and the entire dish was very unappetizing. The pasta was overcooked and the dish overall wasn’t great. My boyfriend got the seafood medley and it didn’t stand out much. The only thing worth anything at this restaurant is the bread. A bummer since I’ve heard such great things about this place. No problems with service fortunately.

We had an early Dinner @5:00 when it opened. The food, service, and atmosphere are awesome. Garlic Bread Loaf is real good. Eat one there, take one home.
