Schlittz Giggles Perkins - Baton Rouge

I ordered online and picked up food for my twins' birthday party. The staff delivered the food to my car and it was ready when I arrived. They had pizza cut into squares which was perfect for our party. We had 16 teens and four adults who enjoyed four large pizzas and two orders of garlic knots. The pizza was delicious, especially the BBQ chicken flavor.

My visit to Baton Rouge prompted a search for a quick meal, and Schlittz giggles, conveniently located just two blocks from our hotel, caught our attention. Despite the old appearance of the building in the city, we were impressed by the friendly staff and family-friendly atmosphere. Our order consisted of several pizzas and garlic knots. The 'so large kitchen floor' pizza was delicious, albeit a bit floppy on the crust, which was expected due to the generous toppings. The 18-inch pepperoni and ham pizza had a solid crust and tasty sauce/toppings. The garlic knots were a highlight, although heavy on the garlic flavor. If you're not a fan of garlic, these may not be your preference. Covered in Parmesan cheese and garlic sauce, they were delightful. I didn't expect to find such great pizza in Louisiana, so I highly recommend this spot.

This restaurant is definitely not up to par with its city location. I'm not sure what system they have for tracking orders, but it needs a complete overhaul. Instead of bringing out our food as it was ready, the server had to go from table to table asking if each dish was ours. This resulted in us sitting around waiting for what felt like forever without receiving anything. Our waitress didn't seem to care about our table at all, and it was apparent. The manager tried to make things right, but it seemed like he was dealing with a difficult situation beyond his control.

This is my first time since 2009 with this pizza! I've never eaten at this place, but my last visit was on the 3rd street. Although it feels like it's been 100 years ago, I remember that the pizza is really good, but just doesn't remember the exact taste. I must say that the pizza is still amazing and full of taste! definitiw one of the best pizzas in the baton rouge area, perhaps even the southern part of louisiana. lol I have it too cheerful, but the atmosphere is relaxing and cool. I have the big pepperoni and rustico in the solo size, but it also comes in 18 both were very delicious. next time I will not wait over 13 years to visit again!

Traveling through town and was craving pizza. The pizza was spectacular loved it. Got the meats and meats pizza. When I'm back in town I will enjoy this again. Love the building very fun place.
