Contribuiți la feedbackSammy?s has been my favorite in Baton Rouge for decades. Cooked cancers are particularly brilliant when in the season. The whole menu is legit.
I had a great experience, the food was hot and good, the server Ashley was attentive, did not have to wait long for each of the foods, the cook Kenya was also amazing with the presentation of my food. It was very reasonable, even with the family. We will come back soon!!!
Unfortunately no cancers, but the BBQ shrimps and cancers Etouffe was great. Blackened Alligator was the best I've ever eaten. Server Caroline was very friendly.
A small spot from the beaten path with Louisiana cooking. It has decent food. A variety of Po Boys try. The gumbo was delicious.
Everything was good, I have had better from here in the past. Onion rings were great. Crab cakes were a bit bland and could use a sauce on them. The red beans with fried pork chops was very good. The bbq shrimp was good but not great, it was spicy and had lots of shrimp, was 16 in total and were cooked well. I found it to be not like traditional bbq shrimp, it had lots of vegetables cooked down in sauce and it wasn't bad just not like I expected. The shrimp and corn soup wasn't really liked at all by anyone definitely not your traditional cream based shrimp and corn. We were satisfied overall but a few let downs The cheesecake was ok kind of gritty in texture
