Roux 61 Seafood Grill - Baton Rouge

My family and I went to Baton Rouge for a college tour and stood for good South Creole/Seafood. With so many choices we chose Roux 61 and was rewarded with great food...to the point that my picky eater 9 years old actually enjoyed the different types of food. Overall, it was a great culinary experience. The only hanging up was the parking lot, somehow improved.

We're just going to eat here for two days because we love it so much. Excellent food, excellent and friendly staff, clean and great environment. Only what could improve are the surfaces on the tables. You're a little sticky. Otherwise it's a great place.

What is there not to like? Delicious Amber is a great waitress. We only live 41/2 hours from here and are planning another visit to this restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere The green fried tomatoes are excellent.

Always a good choice for lunch or dinner. Great for big groups. Good taste on all dishes. Alligator cheesecake is a must try. Clean, friendly, fast.

Great food! Great service! Chargrilled oysters were phenomenal! The stuffed portobello mushroom was absolutely on point. The stuffing was full of fresh crab. Topped with a wonderful crawfish sauce.
