Monjunis Italian Cafe Grocery

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but I ended up feeling let down. The pasta sauce was overly sweet, and the lunch price of nearly $15 was too high for what was offered. The Caesar dressing had a strong anchovy flavor that made it difficult to enjoy my meal.

Today, I was once again reminded why I will not be eating at Monjunis anymore. I ordered half a parmesan, six roasted ravioli, and a piece of tiramisu. The total cost was $44, and I had to pick up my order. When I got to my car and checked my order, there were no breadsticks, only five ravioli instead of six, and the tiramisu was missing. The service was poor and the portion sizes were very small for the price. I will not be returning. They did not apologize when I returned to address the issue.

This cozy, intimate restaurant offers delicious Italian cuisine. Highly recommend trying dishes with the original red sauce.

I ordered a spaghetti and meatball court with a caesar salat. but I never got my salate. eating was not a good temperature (the kind of cold) the table I was dirty. the personal was nice. I love eating Italian, so I just tried another place. oh and the extra meatball was $6 for a meatball?

I can tell you how critically underwhelmed I was with this place. With a party of twenty and a volly of different dishes sampled I can tell you there will not be a return trip. With the starters 3 people ordered calamari and 2 of them tried giving the rest away to the rest of the table. With entrees nearly no one finished their meal and many didn't even make a big dent. I had the meatball sub and found the meat to be on the dry side and even the person next to me said it before I commented. The shrimp dish next to me I tried and found the shrimp was overcooked and dry. Everyone at the table commented about the sweetness of the marinara dishes. The decor and the staff where nice though.
