Juban's Restaurant - Baton Rouge

I was in Baton Rouge visiting family and we decided to have dinner at JubansThe minute we sat down we were greeted by the most wonderful waiter.

I live in Nola where we brunch like pros, and I'd absolutely recommend this placeAnd I'll be back.

Here for the Women's Bowling Championships! A group of us came here for dinner last night. The Pork Chops were the best me and my husband ever had. So moist and full of flavor!! Everything was awesome!! And please, please give kudos to David, our waiter. He was full of charm and awesomeness!! He is what made this a more memorable experience!

I've had the pleasure of dining a Jubon's twice now. Five years ago I fell in love with the Hallaleujah Crab and palate cleansing citrus sorbets in between courses. Last week, I observed a more casual climate with no less polish or perfection. The Maytag blue cheese beautifully complimented the summer wedge salad. Gumbo was chock full of flavor and meat. We were too full to partake of dessert, but every detail of the meal was well-thought out. Service from David Gipson was impeccable. What a gracious host! We'd come back to Jubon in a heartbeat. My only regret is that it's quite a drive from Houston.
