Isabella's Pizzeria - Baton Rouge

I always order the Mediterranean Pasta dish, and it has never let me down. At this point, I feel like I should know the chef by their first name because it's just that amazing!

Since FLEUR de Lis went out of business, Isabella's is hands down the best pizza in town! The Calzones are delicious too and huge! You won't regret ordering the best pizza in town!

I had the best meal in a long time! The ISABELLA SALAD was fantastic, and the fresh salad dressing was delightful. I added a bit of Parmesan cheese on top, which was a nice touch. The MEATBALLS AL FORNO were incredible! They were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of red pepper for a bit of heat. However, I wish there had been more sauce because I ran out before I finished the delicious bread that accompanied the dish. Overall, I truly enjoyed this meal; they really nailed it. The only change I would suggest is to add more sauce to the meatballs. Also, while the picture shows mozzarella cheese on top, I actually prefer them without it.

We bought the x large 3 topping pizza with a few add ons. We had company that is why we bought such a big pizza. We got the same Italian Sausage, Shrimp, x mozzarella cheese, black olives and herb garlic sauce for sauce rather than tomato. I have gotten the same pizza from Isabella's 3 times before but medium and they have been the best pizza EVER!!!!! I paid over $40.00 for this pizza. It was the WORST pizza I have ever had. Only 4 pieces were half eaten cuz it was so dry. Don't know if they were distracted by the LSU game, had a different cook but if they don't fix their problem they will lose a lot of customers, including me! I was so embarrassed cuz I had told our company they were in for a treat. NOT!

The pizza arrived quicker than I expected and was still hot in the box. It tasted great, and there was no greasy flavor to the crust. I will definitely be ordering again.
