Ihop - Baton Rouge

The food didn't quite match the picture and description, but it was still decent. They no longer had my usual dish, so I had to choose something else. The service was excellent. However, the cleanliness was terrible. The salt shaker was so dirty that the salt wouldn't come out and had brown residue on the rim. The floor was filthy and in need of cleaning. There was dried ketchup on the bottle. Overall, everything was just unsanitary.

Regarding the kids eat free promotion for If, we were surprised by a fine print clause that was not mentioned in the advertisements we had seen. This clause limited the promotion to only 2 of our 4 children, which would disproportionately affect single parents even more. I urge the restaurant to improve their policy on cleaning high chairs as they were quite dirty and could potentially make children sick, as it did with my 1.5-year-old and me. The restaurant's kid-friendliness is lacking in this aspect.

The staff seemed to be avoiding serving the customers. We waited for 30 minutes without being attended to, even though there were not many other customers. We ended up leaving to find another place to eat. The restaurant should consider hiring more dedicated and responsible staff.

We were seated as soon as we walked through the door. Our server was great and patient with my mother and I. We weren't sure what would be a light meal for the night. So we decided to get the Turkey, Avacodo and Bacon sandwich with fruit. It was awesome!!!

Couldn’t even order because whoever was working tonight wants to pretend that they don’t work at a 24/7 restaurant. No answer on the phone after calling for 10 minutes over and over. Waited inside for 5-10 minutes even yelled for someone. Worst service worst people. Can’t comment on the food because I COULDNT EAT. Go anywhere else if you need late night/early morning food. Disgraceful. Get cheesed.
