El Rio Grande Mexican - Baton Rouge

My first visit to this little jewel; is not my last...newer to BR and LA, and is always excited to happen to me on a big new... Margarita was there. The taste of food, riches and spices, was... The food was so fresh to my taste buds, not tasted like a fast microwave. The service was fabulous. I say GO TRY IT IMMEDIATELY!

One of the best places I have eaten at since I got to Baton rouge. The location might seem a bit off, but it makes it unique. Definitely should give it a try, you will not regret it. Ps: Don't forget the queso

Initially thought individually covered Chips for 'nachos ' was strange. But now that I 've tried them, can 't understand why more restaurants don 't prepare their 'nachos ' the same way. AWESOME!!!! The chips stay crisp and really well covered with beans, beef, cheese and jalapeno. YUM

I come here quite frequently on my lunch breaks and it is fantastic. Great atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. I have almost tried everything on the menu and its all great but my favorite might be the Don Jose Beans. Will definitely continue to come here in the future.

You'll love the margarita...no need for happy hour, because all you need is ONE! Enchiladas Con Huevos is muy bien too! This place opened in 1962...you know they have it right!!
