La Famiglia - Bathurst

A large group went out for dinner at this restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I decided to order the pork sliders with a Greek salad. Unfortunately, the pork in the sliders was either dried out or missing altogether. When I raised this issue with the staff, they promptly replaced the sliders for me. However, the "Greek salad" I received was more of a regular salad with olives, feta cheese, and a heavy drizzle of balsamic vinegar, which was clearly not the traditional Greek salad I was expecting.

My friend and I visited this restaurant for dinner during the Bathurst 1000 race week. Despite being busy, we were disappointed with the service. It took nearly an hour for our food to arrive, and when it did, our chips were unevenly cooked. The food was mediocre and mostly cold, and my friend even found his chicken to be pink inside. When we brought it to the attention of the waitress, she was dismissive and rude. Although another meal was offered, we had already been waiting for a long time and declined. We were not offered a refund for the undercooked dish. I was very let down by this experience, especially since I had enjoyed my previous visit a year ago. I hope the management takes customer feedback more seriously in the future.

After we found our way through several doors in this hotel we found the restaurant. What a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and obliged. I had barely comfortable pork ribs and they just melted in the mouth. The flesh fell away from the bone... The meal was great and the salad was delicious.

We had been to this restaurant before and once again enjoyed a delicious meal. Despite our party of 3 not having a booking, they were able to accommodate us since there were only 2 other tables occupied. The menu offers a variety of standard but elevated dishes at a reasonable price. We were supposed to receive a free drink with our meal, but it appears it may have been overlooked at the time of payment. The waitstaff provided excellent service throughout our dining experience.

Service was good and staff were pleasant,however food was cold. My wife and I both ordered Scotch Fillet Steak with veges. The steak was tender and cooked to our specifications,but the veges which only consisted of broccoli and carrots were ice cold and the meal...was served on cold plates, which is never good. All good restaurants ensure meals are served on hot plates so that food remains hot.
