Cornish Bakehouse - Bath

One of the best Cornish bakeries ever! They offer a variety of fillings to suit different tastes, including spicy and vegan options.

Very good beef paste. my hubby and I shared a medium size to lunch. great taste and the crust had good texture. compares cheaply to those of mackinac island and mackinaw city, but a better crust.

The pasties here are both delicious and affordable. I’m still not quite sure what the difference is between a pasty and a meat pie, but that didn't stop us from ordering three varieties: the traditional Cornish steak pasty with potatoes and a side of 'wobble,' a creamy chicken pasty made with chicken breast, potatoes, leeks, and 'wobble' in béchamel sauce, and a cheese and bacon pasty featuring cheddar, smoked bacon, potatoes, and 'wobble.' The crispy edges of the pastry were beautifully folded, and the pasties were a delight to look at. While I wouldn’t say the filling was extraordinary, these were my first baked pasties, and I really enjoyed them.

The pasties are decent, each with its own unique flavor. However, they are generally not very filling, so they may not provide the best value for your money, but they're still pretty good.

We had their signature pie. Probably not the highest quality but decent and cheap. All good.
