Although a taxi may be required £7.00 from the centre it’s well worth the effort as it’s a Resturant that lives up to all expectations from the minute you step in the door of this small establishment The decor is smart and the place clean and well cared for The staff are outstandingly friendly and efficient and then there’s the food sublime steaks cooked to perfection on hot plates that’s always a clear indicator Would highly recommend a visit and will most certainly be doing so myself Congratulations to the team at Hudsons my wife, daughter and I had a great time

I skipped the starter and went straight to the main course. I have been to this restaurant a few times before and always left satisfied with the food and service. However, on this particular evening, my meal was disappointing. The service was reflected in the small tip I left on the table. The steak lacked flavor and seasoning, as did the vegetables. The potato dish was overly peppery, indicating that it may have been reheated from Saturday. The dessert, which was listed as the pudding menu, came with canned strawberries and an unidentified green substance. There was no cheese option available. Overall, the meal was very average to poor on this occasion.

Superb restaurant. Everything about our experience was flawless: the service was very good with friendly and helpful staff, the atmosphere is relaxed but dining experience sophisticated, and the food was simply fantastic. The steaks are cooked to perfection and you have to have their truffle chips!

Lovely staff, quick service to begin with (before they have to send the order to the kitchen, then a very reasonable wait time ; good selection of drinks and the steaks were spectacular. We are big fans of steakhouses but were both quite impressed with this place. Cosy atmosphere, THE most delicious and perfectly cooked truffle parmesan fries and potato dauphinoise and definitely the herb garlic sauce will be virtually inhaled as it is almost as good as the steaks :
