Booked for lunch before an afternoon in the theatre. Opted for the two dish option at £14.50. I had a terrine starter which was accompanied by a delish chutney. Main courses were well cooked and tasted lovely. Friendly and slick service from the staff

The experience was not excellent. We visited on a Tuesday after a bank holiday, and were disappointed to find that some food items and wine were sold out. I had to return my main course because the meat was cold. However, the waiter was very nice, apologetic, and friendly. Overall, it was just an average dining experience at a pub. Unfortunately, we do not plan on returning.

Good food at great prices. Good for pre theatre dining. Service was good not to in your face. Would go there again.

Booked at short notice for a pre theatre supper. A pleasant meal without being hurried and finished in good time to get to our seats!
