Loyalist Golf Country Club din Bath Meniu

The golf course is in fantastic shape. The starter who greeted us was friendly and helpful, and the rest of the staff was excellent as well. The tee times were spaced 10 minutes apart, which made it feel like we had the course mostly to ourselves during our round.

We had a great time at the course. When we arrived, there were plenty of cars available. The front nine holes were more scenic, while the back nine had some residential construction around it. The restrooms were clean, and the marshal was friendly and attentive. My only complaint was that some of the rough areas were quite long, making it easy to lose a ball. They could consider trimming that back a bit... or perhaps I could work on my consistency as a golfer! Overall, it was a lovely day outdoors!

After playing Loyalist yesterday, the experience has drastically shifted from previous rounds throughout the years. Here is what?s right: Booking system is excellent with chronogolf. Pro shop staff members were fast with check in. Practice facilities are good. Starter was very approachable and a pleasure to speak with. Here?s what needs improvement: Bunkers are in terrible shape, refer to the photo. Full of rocks and dried out to a crisp?unacceptable would be an understatement. A majority of tee boxes are very uneven, especially on the front nine. Good shots are not rewarded on some holes. There is no need to have a random tree on a par 5 that is already protected by water on the front nine; there is also no need to have two fairways on a straight hole layout with no raw carries on the back nine. Consider change of layout. There is a lot of construction of new residential property happening on the back nine, expect non stop machine noise throughout the round. Signage is very poor for where the following holes are through the homes under construction zones. What really made the experience beyond bad: when a guest requests a special designation blue flag, you provide them with one. The pro shop attendant mentioned that they had no such thing. Pulling up near the 16th green; a gentleman on his residential patio started giving a speech to my father and I that ?we couldn?t drive there? despite us requesting a designation. After explaining that the course did not have any, he was not convinced and continue to argue the fact that we were ineligible to have our cart where we were. For the cost of green fee, it did not live up to being a true Country Club experience. The property seems more concerned with building the community instead of maintaining a course to its once known championship form. I hope this review is taken very seriously and this course does a U-turn. It used to be touted as a top course in Eastern Ontario but it requires some attention to detail moving forward.
