Carla Sue's Smokehouse - Bassett

Out of the hundreds and hundreds of BBQ places I've visited across the Southeast over the past 35 years, this is ranked solidly in my top five for best pulled pork. Even picked up a couple pounds on the way out of town to enjoy when I'm back home. Great flavor, great sides, great sauces. I'll be visiting everytime we get down that way and I can't recommend this place highly enough!

For delicious real smoked barbecue, Carla Sue's can't be beat! Our whole family loves the barbecue here! Everytime we drive past, we smell the wonderful smoker barbecuing the meat! It's so good! You've gotta try Carla Sue's! You'll be glad you did, and back for more!

The smell should tell you something driving by, it's really good, but in FL we like it sweet and spicy, which they do have, if I should've added some hot sauce to it, my fault, beans were good, Mac and cheese was OK, I'd go back if I'm in the area

Went here today for lunch, the service was great and the food was AMAZING!! Will definitely be back.

4/21/22 past this place on the way to Pulaski, VA and seen the sign and smoke cloud so I did a u-turn,and boy am I glad I did.this place has incredible tasting food and the smoked mac-a-cheese is superb.yhall have got to try this road side smoke house out it's very Well worth it.thanks Tony Anthony Thomasville, NC
