Worst burger I have had in a long time lack of service. Waiter didn’t ask how I wanted the meat to be cooked so burger arrived raw. No sauce on the burger, one sauce of choice included as a side. The cooked part of the meat tasted okay. Composition of the burger and presentation on the plate was very bad. Salad was displaced, tomatoes cut too thick and cheese was not cheddar but looked like it was replaced with parmesan cheese. The burger patty is quite thick so that with condiments it is almost impossible to eat the burger. Gurkins cut in quarters not slices. All sauces I ordered tasted home made but where not good for my taste. My side of fries arrived after everyone had finished their burgers. For someone that likes burgers a lot and has tasted burgers in different places around the world, the one at helmut is a huge disappointment. I have given this place a chance, eaten here more than once but am left disappointed and will not return. For those that love a good burger, look elsewhere.

I really enjoyed this spot. Firstly it's really a birreria and carries a large range of draught beer. Stick to the Ganter pilsener, it's the cheapest and extremely good. The other beers start to get very, very pricey.....be warned. I ate an Italian classic piadina which was delicious. They also offer burgers and a few other bits and bobs but the piadine are top drawer. Try the deserts too, the selection is small but what they produce is special. The musical background was The Pogues mixed in with interesting 60s, 70s and 80s classics. The feel is definitely funky and eclectic. A very pleasant change from the usual Italian bistro

As with all Helmuts, this is also top for raw materials and choices! Super recommended

The style of the room and the large windows overlooking the city lights make me feel in a small New York! Food is good and extremely helpful staff, Flo and the staff girls are friendly and super solar. Recommended!
