Franklin Special Fry

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The fish and chips were fantastic and the service was great.

Keeping the good hygiene practices with hand gel at the entrance set a good mood, with the cashier sanitising between each cash handle.Came in in the last 30 mins before closing, they cooked the cod fresh, didn't take too long. Cod was hot and batter was crispy as it should be.

The service and food were both outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This local chippy is very good and clean. You place your order and wait, and there is plenty of car parking available.

First time customer. Given that had been sat in the warming cabinet for a while. fish didn't taste good batter soggy and as for the chips I was given the drags of what was left before new batch was given out. Extremely disappointed and was more expensive than the van I usually use. I thought I'd give it a try on my way back from my swim. Won't be doing that again.
