Dee Dee's Cafe, The Range

Wanted to have a longer lunch break with a colleague. Arrived at 1200, one family in the queue before us, no one to serve. There was a note saying Will be back in 5 minutes . Waited nearly 20 mins (I dont know how long the family had waited for), then someone from the back room arrived. When our turn came, we were told they have run out of three options we had thought of ordering no apologies. Why do you not put a note saying that sorry, no pizzas left today etc. Waisted 35mins and had to go back to the office via M&S . Not going back. Horrible place. Would give a zero if that was an option.

The tuna mayo jacket potato was unsatisfactory. It was swamped in mayonnaise with very little tuna. It was very poorly presented and I was unable to eat it after the first mouthful. It was a waste of money and would not go back

Visited on 13/11/2021 at 1100. On arrival only 2 tables occupied and no one in the queue. We had to ring the bell to get the waitress from round the back who greeted us with a miserable face and seemed very moody. We ordered 2 x coffees and then went to find a table. Every single table was dirty and needed wiping down. The girl serving has disappeared round the back again on her phone. Won’t visit again.

I must say that I'm never tempted to have a coffee or any food there, just doesn't do it for me. Pity really.

Stopped for a quick snack whilst Range shopping. Food is average for a quick snack place. Tea and coffee not too bad. Furniture is looking a little tired and many of the chairs have suspicious stains on them. Many are a sort of fabric so not easily cleanable. Sometimes the food looks as tired as the staff!
