Cafe Retreat - Basingstoke and Deane

The staff are always friendly and quick. food is so nice! best cafe around. i have tried a few different dishes as i go quite regular and they have all been lovely.

I go there often for breakfasts and afternoon tea and cakes. Good selection of breakfasts and cakes.

Visiting family who have moved to Talley and were looking forward to trying out this place for lunch but so disappointed and won’t be back. It was Saturday lunchtime and wasn’t a busy venue. The first items our grandchildren wanted were not available nor were the drinks. The meal we eventually settled for was left uneaten by the child as even he could see it didn’t look appetising. The girl server was friendly but she couldn’t make up for the surly boy server. Such a shame. Next time we’ll get a sandwich and drink from Sainsbury across the road.

We went here for breakfast and we found the whole place was spotlessly clean and the food was excellent we ate every bit, the staff were very polite and friendly we enjoyed our food here. Our only negative is payment by card not accepted cash only. We had to go to a ATM

Only cafe in Tadley! For them ? Probably just as well
