Taco Bell - Basildon

I stopped by this restaurant for a quick meal on my way home after a long day. When I arrived, there were two or three orders ahead of me. I placed my order and ended up waiting in line for over 25 minutes! Surprisingly, I had only ordered a wrap and chips. When I inquired about the delay, I was informed that they were busy fulfilling delivery orders, which apparently had priority. The food was decent, but the extended wait, especially when hungry, was unpleasant. It was frustrating to see only one person working in the kitchen while others appeared to be not as busy. I would suggest trying another option in the food court.

The delivery service from this restaurant is absurd. Every time I have ordered, my order has been incorrect, cold, or never even arrived, with the blame placed on missing items. The manager should not be allowed to continue working there. It is truly embarrassing.

Due to COVID restrictions, the restaurant was unable to provide trays, but the empty tables were noticeably dirty. There was food on the floor in the kitchen and overflowing bins. A female staff member was extremely rude when I asked for a refund for my cold food, as I had waited for a clean table which never happened. Initially, I was told I couldn't get a refund because there was nothing wrong with the food. After requesting to speak to the manager, I was only passed messages through the same staff member. Eventually, I did receive a refund, but it felt like a gesture to appease me. My children were disappointed, and I'm relieved we didn't dine there due to the poor cleanliness conditions.

We got it delivered on deliveroo and like every other time they messed the order up yet again, they missed part of my meal and it was cold

Love the food here always have done but the service is too slow. It’s meant to be fast food but the wait tends to be a good 15-20 mins so just 2 meals. Not impressed and puts me off going there!
