Lucky Dhaba - Basi

We were in the Chandigarh-Panchkula area late on a slow Thursday night and looking for an authentic dhaba experience to round off our night. Lucky Dhaba was recommended to us by one of the servers at a bar in sector 17 and what a recommendation it was! Always trust the locals to know best!To start off, the food is without a shadow of a doubt 5/5. Every single thing we ordered was on an alternate gustatory plane. The paneer tikka practically melted in your mouth as did the laccha parathas. We ordered the palak paneer, dal makhani, pakoda kadhi and masala chicken. I could write a separate review for each of these but let it suffice to say that between 3 of us we basically licked every single plate, vessel, morsels of food on the table clean. The freshly fired rotis and naans from the tandoor only enhanced the already ethereal experience. We had no space left for dessert but we ordered the kheer regardless. Even a stomach on the verge of explosion couldn't stop me from partaking in the creamy and rich decadence of the rice pudding. I could go on and on extolling the virtues of the food but I'd advise you to do yourself a favor and visit this place if you find yourself in the area.The service was good and quick. Server was very friendly. Just be advised that this is a roadside eatery and very rustic in feel. The bathrooms are serviceable for guys but quite for the womenfolk. But you go here for the food and not really anything else.

This dhaba definitely is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. But its not a good place for vegetarians. This place is mainly known for mouth watering chicken. One of the best place to conduct parties.

Lucky Dhaba is Situated near Crossing of Ambala-Chandigarh-Rajpura road. Very famous in this area for dhaba food. Dal and tandoori naan is awesome. Reasonably priced and value for money. food is good.

Refused to serve food, no dining , asked to parcel the food. Did get the chance to taste the food but owner was disrespectful towards customers.

This month only in Feb i visited here with my friends and we had luch there, we had kadhai paneer and dal makhni, the taste was amazing.
