Coop - Basel

The dinners, (there were 4 of us)was delicious, and beautifully prepared. One of the best in a long time! Next to train station in Basel and across street from Hotel City Inn

COOP's hot grilled chicken is the bomb! Every time I ran into a COOP, my mind thinks of the rotisserie chicken with their original recipe. The chicken is moist, seasoning is perfect - not too tasty, seeps into the bone. If you happen to be in Switzerland, looking for a quick easy bite, find a COOP and try the chicken. Mind you, get messy as you need 10 fingers to lick afterwards ;)

It was our first time at the Pfauen Restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. Large selection and everything looked very tasty. I then decided on the daily menu, which was also excellent. The vegetables, which in most restaurants are just a bland side dish on the plate, were also well seasoned and really tasty. There is also a large dessert buffet which also looked excellent!! Also inexpensive. We'd love to come back.

Very nice selection of food! Ms. Duman's desserts in particular are beautifully and elegantly created! Friendly and helpful staff! Always open to questions too! Can that Coop Highly recommend Restaurant Pfauen!

Good food and very courteous service. The daily routine is well regulated and organized. Great selection with lots of options.
