Brasserie Küchlin - Basel

I went there because of a recommendation for Beefsteak Tartar. It was indeed excellent. They bring the raw meet and aside the sauces you might want to mix with the meet. So you get to do your own flavour and decide how spicy you want it. Service good and timely, fancy dishes for I will get back there to eat them.

We had dinner here our first night in Basel. The staff was very friendly. Menu was interesting (a lots of game dishes) but everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Mussels were excellent.

Operation is unmotivated and unhappy, inflexible. no small sbacjs at a group of 10 people. no customer interest.

I believe, herr schaub has eaten his paella in another restaurant!What he writes in his review, I cannot sign in any way and wisely. this paella, with all the rich ingredients, is excellent and also inexpensive.I am always hospitable and often have the opportunity to enjoy the paella and I do it again and again because it is really very good. also the ingredients are all fresh and therefore not to compare with any finished product! I don't know where they're looking for dinner, but I think they're already up on this day with the wrong fuss! suggest: go back and let them go from the careful and friendly host santos something delicious uptic, maybe even a paella!

Good food, polite and helpful staff. However paying the bill, we were forced to pay the restaurant's poorer exchange rate to Sterling rather than pay directly in Swiss Francs which I would have preferred to do.
