La Locanda Di Miro - BARZIO

We were there for lunch and even the kitchen was ready to be close the staff were very friendly, inviting us to stay, they provided a good customer service and nice food

I was around the area to do a race in the mountains. I stayed a bit longer to enjoy the beautifull mountains. Had a nice dinner in the evening. There was the possibility to sit in or outside. I mad the choice to sit outside. The service was just as quick. I choose the fries with some beef and an extra salad. It was possible to have an non alcohol beer!! That was a big plus. That 's still not common in Italy. They will have a big market. They just have to get used to it. The beef was nice, the fries (with mayo offcourse) was perfect and the salad was oke. I 'm sorry but I 'm not a palenta loving person. Why would you have 'brinta ' for dinner. That 's a breakfast dish in the winter when it 's really cold. But the taste of it was oke... It came with the salad. I didn 't have one, but the pizza also looked really nice.

We went to the Locanda during the week at lunch time. The place is well located just in the city center of Barzio and the restaurant is nice and well maintained. The service was a bit slow and definitely needs improvement, however the food flavor, quality and quantities were good but the selection of wines was poor. Last but not least the price was too high considering what the offer was. So: Service 1,5 out of 5 Food 3 out was of 5 Price 1,5 out of 5 We may give it another try...

Good bartiness. I think the best! excellent taragna polenta with various meats (thanks, hares, deer etc), and delicious cutter for 2 of meat and cheese with jams. I always come when I'm at the barium.

You can vary from pizza to restaurant menu. fast to service, only prices. both lunch and dinner, better book. tips.
