My man and father enjoyed their meal next to the chips. my man enjoyed his chicken burger and my father had a delicious chicken salad, but the chips were underboiled and for my meal I had the vegetarian burger, which was undercut. the bohnenpatty was terrible and overcooked. the wine card was great with local weeping and the beer options were also good. it would be a good place to watch live sport, but we wouldn't eat there again.

I made a simple online booking, but when I had to cancel later. the staff were friendly and accommodating that this is one of my favorite locals.

The quality of some meals was disappointing. Battered fish was more batter than fish, quantity of steak served did not equate to good value for money and Asian dim sim entrée served to table overcooked, burnt and inedible. This meal we returned. Attention to detail by kitchen could be improved. Bar staff v friendly however again attention to detail and knowledge of good bar practices lacking.

As always the food was tasty but substantial simple fare. The staff were friendly and helpful although clearly overwhelmed due to management underestimating the size of the Anzac Day crowd. This led to significant delays but the single barmaid/ waitress did a wonderful job keeping her cool Bd just getting people served. Overall still a pleasant lunch.

This is a place for casual dining with family and friends when you are on a budget. No airs and graces, but quality above the price tag.
