Barry's Bay Dairy and Restaurant

Today I had one of the best BLTs I have ever had in a restaurant. The sandwich was well-toasted, had ample ripe tomatoes and bacon and just the right amount of mayo.

I have stopped here a few times and had ice cream cones waffle and normal the ice cream is very good they also serve breakfast have not tried this yet but when I get back from fishing in the morning that's where I'll be headed

Stopped here for breakfast before heading home from the cottage last fall. The place is very busy on Sunday mornings so you may need to bring your patience with you. Food was good and the prices were good too!

Food: very big portion for price (see picture). ordered 1 egg breakfast with sausage for $6+ includes coffee.Quality: Sausage decent. Home fries were commercial (not homemade). Rye toast was good. I had tomatoes instead of egg and they were nice and fresh.Allergy: no issue whatsoever to accommodate. Swapped tomatoes for egg and got 3 nice slices.Service: friendly and quick to refill coffee. Restaurant was quiet so can't speak what it is like at lunch/supper.All in all will be back when I come through area!

This is a great old fashioned diner. The place was very busy which is always a good sign of a great place to eat. My wife and I were pleasantly please with the food quality and taste. The bacon and eggs were very good and tasty and the home fries were very fresh. Service was good, fast and friendly. Will definitely return when next in the area.
