The Furness Railway - Barrow-in-Furness

What a fantastic place! With a cozy wood burner, affordable meals, and an excellent selection of budget-friendly drinks, this spot has it all. We stayed at the Wetherspoons hotel, which offers amazing value right in the city center, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The atmosphere is clean, warm, and quiet, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the hotel and found it to have one of the best rooms we've ever had, especially for less than half the price. Parking was easy; you just have to pay the night before. The restaurant had nice, tasteful decor, but the family dining with us was a bit loud and rude.

The hotel was clean, featuring comfortable rooms and modern decor. We were pleasantly surprised by the daily service, as our towels were changed and the room was tidied up during our three-day stay. The food was typical of Wetherspoon—good, affordable, and served quickly. However, the downside was the location, as the city had little to offer. We chose to stay primarily due to the great price and drove daily to the Lake District for our activities.

Stay in the hotel, rooms are large and well maintained. to eat in pub, the posing eggs are an early part. the staff from the reception to the house deserves 10/10 can not mistake the length they go

The hotel is very good, clean, the rooms are big and the price is great. If you could pick it up and move the whole place to a more attractive town is would be perfect. But then it would also be double the price. Worth a visit and a good base to explore the lake district.
