Tesco Cafe - Barrow-in-Furness

Oh my, let me tell you about my recent trip to Tesco with my dear husband. We were on a mission to buy some Easter eggs for our precious grandchildren, and I was thrilled to have his company on this errand. As we entered the store, I couldn't help but notice the bustling crowd of shoppers. But we forged ahead and soon found ourselves in the egg aisle, debating the merits of the various chocolate options. And then, my dear husband surprised me by suggesting we take a break and enjoy a little treat in the Tesco cafe. He knows just how to make my day! The cafe was bustling too, but we managed to find a table and placed our order for coffee and cake. And let me tell you, it was simply delightful. The coffee was hot and strong, and the cake was moist and delicious. Despite the busy atmosphere, the service was quick and efficient, and we were soon back on our way to finish our shopping. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I must say that having coffee and cake with my husband in the Tesco cafe may have to become a regular occurrence after our shopping trips. Thank you, Tesco, for making our day a little sweeter!

I stopped by this restaurant for brunch and was impressed with the value for money. I ordered the all day breakfast and my friend ordered the brunch, both came with 2 large coffees for £14.00. The portion sizes were generous and the coffee was delicious. The food was presented beautifully and tasted great, and it didn't take long for it to be served. The brunch included egg, avocado, halloumi, tomato, beans, mushroom, and toast, making for a delicious alternative. The staff were also very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a tasty and affordable brunch option.

Easy to order, nice servers, food was well cooked, would prefer a round plate, that is my preference though, was not offered different egg types or Black Pudding! Decent and I got points!

Similar to the Marie Celeste, I waited a long time at the cashier to place my order while a staff member was in the back of the restaurant. Eventually, someone showed up around 8:50 am. The staff was pleasant and the food arrived quickly and was of satisfactory quality. However, I am unsure if it was worth the price. The restaurant was clean, but some of the cutlery was not in the best condition. I had to go through two knives before finding a clean one, but the third one was fine.
