Station House Family Dining - Barriere

Just for lunch and no complaints. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. Had this comfort food, house boiled vibe I love. We could say it's popular with locals, as the waitress seemed to know all the names other than...ours. Coffee was fresh and delicious and the waitress even a to-go cup. “Just like eating at home!” to quote my Hubby. I agree. you can cook. We'll be back on our next road trip. Thank you.

The food was nothing special. We had to continue to try to alert the waitress to the point of another customer who pointed out that we were after their attention. We usually have a few drinks with dinner, but the waitress was too busy... Gossipping, even checking on us to see if we wanted something else, We finally got their attention so we pay our bill and go back.

Plenty of food and friendly service. Good value for money. However, the restaurant looks tired and could benefit from some upgrades. The carpet is well used and should be replaced, preferably with a washable floor covering. The pink tables with green upholstery look more...dated. 

Went on Sunday morning the waitress was busy but made every effort to keep up to the fast pace, really a pleasure to see someone working so hard. The place was clean and following the extra precautions during these times. We were a little picky...but they were happy to accommodate all of our menu alterations and the food was amazing, home cooked, quality food. Will stop every time I pass through
