Yang's Chinese - Barrie

I've had decent Chinese food from this place, but I definitely do NOT recommend the pad thai. It was a huge disappointment, from the noodles to the sauce to the beef. The only positive was the portion size, but that actually felt like a downside because it just meant I had more to eat that I didn’t enjoy, all for $18. I know it sounds silly—I really should have known better than to order pad thai from a Chinese restaurant—but I took a chance and ended up regretting it.

This place is fantastic! We go there frequently, and they always get our order right. If it were a sit-down restaurant, I would give it 5 and a half stars for the amazing food quality. Unfortunately, it’s only takeout. Give it a try—you won't be disappointed!

This restaurant hasn't changed a bit. The egg rolls were cold and chewy, filled mostly with dough and barely any filling. The chicken balls were terrible, with an excessive coating and low-quality chicken. The fries were soggy, and some weren't even cooked properly, showing many dark spots on the potatoes. The gravy was both watery and gelatinous. Overall, this is the worst food I've encountered in Barrie!

The food arrived hot. The Singapore noodles are bland but ok lots of veggies. The General Tao chicken doesn’t taste like how I’m used to or the last time I got it from them. The plain chicken wings I ordered were soaked with oil and sitting on a strange mix of oily, sautéed veggie pieces. The meat was also yellow in some places. I think they need to change the oil in their deed fryer perhaps. I didn’t eat much from the order and my stomach feels sick.
