Wimpy's Diner - Barrie

My family and I enjoy eating here. I’ve been going here for a number of years. I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner on numerous occasions and at different times during the week. I've gone alone and with family and friends and never have I had a problem with service or the food. The waitresses were always attentive to our needs even when they were busy with lineups out the door. We know some of the waitresses by name and they are always welcoming when we come in and they say hello even if they are not our server. Being in the service industry, I realize that everyone can have an off day from time to time but I haven't witnessed anything like that at this restaurant. I travel a fair bit and eat out at a lot of different places. This one is one of my favourites for certain. Make up your own mind but I would definitely recommend this place to get some real food at a fair price. You'll be well fed and treated for sure.

Good food, if they get your order right.. We often get takeout from here, and have learned one valuable lesson: CHECK YOUR ORDER! I can't count the amount of times that something has been missing. But the food is good enough that we keep going back. The value can't be beat!

Great food, just A LOT of it. You def have to be really hungry or get one order for two people

Was great, good food, good portions, good price. Service was with a smile, and prompt. Only down side was half way through our meal a group of teens walked in and sat a few tables away, which is not the point, however during their loud conversation they started swearing and talking about having sexual inter coarse, I found this to be disruptive and unpleasant as I was with my family like many other patrons, so after 10 minutes of the waiting staff not saying anything to them, I took it upon myself to point out to these older children that there were much younger children present along with mine and that I would appreciate if they kept their profanities down a little. so what should have been a nice experience was ruined, maybe next time...
