Tian Ya BBQ - Barrie

We really enjoyed the grill. Selection was good, although they did not have salmon. Our server was nice, very quick. Always brought us pop refills without us even having to ask.Service was fast, restaurant was very clean.Really enjoyed the seasonings on the meat and the selection available.

I love Korean BBq restaurants and was happy to find one in Barrie. We've been to this place at least 3 times now and the food has been good and the price is reasonable. It looks like a small family-run restaurant, they offer good service, and although I wish they had more items on the menu, the food is good overall. I generally would not recommend ordering ready-cooked dishes on the menu (they weren't as good, imo) and focus more on the marinaded meat.

We wanted something different to have a small celebration. This was a unique experience and the service and food quality was excellent. We ended up ordering way too much food but what we managed to cook and consume was great.

I can start by saying that the people who own and work here are great and very helpful and service was good.However I always start with kimichi when reviewing back Korean restaurant as to its authenticity and quality. Unfortunately here the kimichi is sweet, limp and not good at all. This is pretty much the same for all the other food items on the menu. It is as if the spice levels, quality of marinates has been watered down for some reason and it really takes away from the whole experience.The Variety​ amd quality of the side dishes was also disappointing... To bland. Last thing is the heat of the grill was not hot enough so often the meat did not get the charred flavour of cooking in a hot grill.Barrie definitely needs a good Korean BBQ place so I hope that the owners please please make it more authentic and not water it down the experience....

Had all you could eat Korean bar b q here last week excellent Had seven people with us one member would have preferred spicier meat but most of us liked the meat veggies not too exciting
